Mazda CX-5






The 2016 Mazda CX-5 is a front-wheel drive four-door wagon that was released to the market classified as a MY13. The CX-5 is regarded as a medium SUV built in Japan.


The CX-5 is a front-wheel drive 4 door with 5 seats, powered by a 2.2L 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine that produces up to 129kW of power and 420Nm of torque via a Six-speed Automatic.


MAZDA claims the CX-5  fuel capacity is up to 55L, and its advanced SKYACTIV-D engine technology provides efficient and powerful performance  using 6.4L/100km of Diesel in the combined city and highway cycle while putting out 148g of CO2. It should be able to travel 875km per full tank.


The CX-5 measures 1710mm (67.3 inches) in height, 4540mm (178.7 inches) in length, 1840mm (72.4 inches) in width with a 2700mm (106.3 inches) wheelbase that brings about a total of 1482kg (3267.2 lbs) of unladen weight.


The CX-5 comes standard with 225/65 R17 front tyres and 225/65 R17 rear tyres. It requires a service every 12 months or 10,000 km, whichever comes first.


The 2016 Mazda CX-5 MAXX SPORT (4×2) has a 150mm ground clearance with a 1800kg braked and 750kg unbraked towing capacity. It has a final gear ratio of 4.624.


The CX-5 has received a 5 star rating from ANCAP.
